Telnet and SSH BBSes only, no web!

The site focuses on Telnet BBSes. We also list SSH (Secure Shell) BBSes as well. And we also list a couple of dial-up only BBSes.

Note that in our title it says Telnet. This means your BBS needs to have telnet, or something of that sort.

I know that in the last month or so that someone figured out how to mix old school BBSes on a website. While I commend them for their efforts, that is not telnet. It just displays a BBS to the user. But it’s not exactly the same as a traditional BBS, though on the back end it *could* be considered one.

A couple of these web-only “sysops” have asked to be listed on the site. Sadly, I had to deny that request.

Maybe one day I can come with something over at the BBS Corner, but not on this particular site.

Thanks for your consideration.
