Diamond Mine Online (WWIV)

The old WWIV version of the Diamond Mine Online is back! This is based upon the original Diamond Mine BBS from 1993. A brand new BBS, but done in the old school way.

This is the companion BBS to the Synchronet based Diamond Mine Online that’s been in operation since 2000. (And before that as VBBS and Virtual Advanced.)

Come Check us out!!

The WWIV Frontier BBS

telnet: frontierbbs net: 2333

Web: frontierbbs net

Lots of active message areas!

File Area! (Online Doors being worked on)

Test BBS for WWIV and CyberBBS for Linux!

The original Gate BBS serving the online BBS community since 1980. Home of ACnet (Advanced Communications Network).

Aliens Alcove

Aliens’ Alcove! first operated in the Philippines from 1991 to 1996. It was revived in 2014 and continues to run on WWIV BBS software running on Linux.

Wretched Beagle BBS

The Wretched Beagle was originally set up in 1993 in Traverse City Michigan running WWIV 4.24 on a 386/25 notebook computer.

The current incarnation was set up in 2014 on linux and is primarily a test system to help with developing WWIV 5  Since it’s running the latest bleeding-edge WWIV5.3, things are likely rough around the edges.  It’s mostly stock (because content gets overwritten a lot), but you are welcome to stop by and check out the message bases.

SSH works, but only via SyncTERM

Alpha Centauri BBS

Alpha Centauri is my nostalgic attempt to have my first WWIV board up and running. Currently there has been a resurrection of WWIVnet and it is operational and networked with more than 12 other WWIV boards at this time. If you are interested in technical conversation about WWIV software, this is the place. Also have some door games up and running for those who like to play as well. Just be aware this is on port 2002.

Arcade BBS, The

The Arcade BBS is an 80’s era bbs that was started in 1987 and ran until 1993.  After a brief break, The Arcade BBS came back online briefly from 1996-2000 and finally went offline that same year due to low activity, calls, and moving.  The Arcade BBS sat dormant until finally being brought back online in the summer of 2010.  The Arcade BBS has been online ever since and continues to have a nostalgic place among the bbs community.  As we continue to grow and expand, please stop by and take a moment to join us for a piece of bbs history.

Blood Stone

The Blood Stone rises again!!! The BS BBS began its adventure on a Commodore C64 back in the mid-1980s and later evolved into a WWIV system in the 1990s. Family became the priority so the Blood Stone was laid to rest for the remainder of the 20th century. Now, nearly two decades later, the kids have grown the family dynamic has evolved and it’s now time to revisit the fun hobby of BBSing again! Running WWIV v5.40, Telnet, SSH and HTTP hosted on a Windows 10 Virtual Machine. 10 nodes, Networked with other WWIV boards and hosting some popular Door games like Tradewars, LORD, LORD2, PimpWars, BRE and Planets: TEOS. Drop on by for a visit! Auto-validation with limited access, e-mail SysOp for additional access.

Weather Station BBS

Been online since the early 80s. Running a highly modded WWIV 4.24 under VMware/eCommstation. (4) nodes via telnet.
