ModemMaster BBS

Just restarted after many years.. Running Wildcat BBS with Doors coming soon like Tradewars 2002

Magic-1 Homebrew Computer

This is for the Magic-1 Telnet server. It runs full Minix version 2.2 and is connected to Telnet.

You can play various old school games like Zork and Adventure. It’s been online for over a decade now and I was surprised it’s not listed here. It runs on a homebrew CPU made by a friend of mine. It is similar to my own system, but more capable in terms of the software it runs (Minix).

Use the login ‘guest’ and the password ‘magic’

Enjoy!

MadWorld BBS

Online since 2005 (mostly). Running on a C128-Flat, CMD HD-20 (4GB). Call in ANSI or PETSCII – the BBS takes on a whole new look! We have a huge Upload and Download area, Great Online games, and we’re working on adding features every day. The only thing we’re missing is you!

Midnight Cafe BBS

Sysop is “NorthStar” We focus on the paranormal and free speech. We are also the only BBS that hosts past episodes of “The Midnight Cafe” radio show.

Manic Modem BBS

Manic Modem BBS; the good old days of BBSing! The BBS was active as a dial-up service from 1993 to 1995. It was closed when the Internet took over the 418 area (Quebec, Canada). The BBS was fully restored in 2004 as a Telnet BBS. It is now reachable at www.manic-modem.com

Mutiny BBS

Mutiny BBS

Along with classic door games Mutiny also has Capers which is an in-house made door game not currently available anywhere else.  Other “Mutiny Originals” may be coming in the future as well!

Started December 2018. Synchronet BBS with a small but engaging user-base so the games that are online are actively being played.

Currently Mutiny has Legend of the Red Dragon, Global Wars, Mines of Gorr, Junkyard, Trade Wars 2002, Hexx Wars, Lost in Space, Gangland Wars and more

Missing Links

The BBS was founded in the late 90’s and originally run under CNet/Amiga primarily as a chat system with multiple nodes. Later after the main SysOp started working for Mustang Software, the software was switched over to Wildcat! 5. It is the home of wcConference and wcNNTP software.

MMN

MMN is an online BBS running in Toronto since 1996, just before the internet  became massive, we currently offer free email, USENET, file downloads and  external IRC, FTP and Telnet to our verified users.

Modem access is limited to 2400 baud since that seems to be the limit of Vonage’s fax line service.
